Moving to the back, we found the rear seats to be spacious enough for your friends or family and give you decent legroom and headroom as well.

Here, your rear seat passengers will especially appreciate the upright seating position, which, in our view, gives them a nice supportive seating position that will give them a good view out of the side windows as they do so.

Upholstery

For the T-Roc's upholstery you will also find a choice of stylish fabric or optional leather upholstery as well.

As a result, whichever one you go for, the materials will feel durable and soft to the touch - making the cabin feel welcoming as a result.

Here the subtle stitching details will also add a touch of class, and all surfaces will just seem easy to keep clean and tidy as well.

Infotainment System

Front and centre on the dashboard, you will also notice a very responsive and vibrant touchscreen that, in our view, is very simple to use, with some very crisp graphics as well.

This also gives you the latest navigation updates and wireless smartphone integration to be able to connect both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it is all straightforward to use and set up, so you won’t be fiddling about for ages trying to find your favourite tunes as a result.

Cluster and Heads-Up

In front of the driver, you are also treated to a clear digital instrument cluster that shows all your key driving data really clearly in front of you as well.

Here, there is even an optional heads-up display, which projects the essential information you need to know directly onto the windscreen in front of you, all helping you keep your eyes on the road while staying informed about what you need to know as it does so.

Boot

Rounding everything off is a surprisingly roomy boot for an SUV of this size with 445 litres of space, or 392 litres if you opt for the four-wheel-drive models.

Consequently, this is more than capable of giving you plenty of enough space for your weekly shop, school bags, or for your weekend getaway luggage.

Here, you also get the T-Roc’s split-folding rear seats as well which make it really easy to configure the space however you need it, so you will always have just the right amount of room that you need.

Engines and Practical Features

The standard T-Roc range gives you seven engine options, including both three and four-cylinder configurations, with a choice of petrol or diesel engines as well.

You also have some good transmission options to pick from, including a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG, which really do a good job at giving you power outputs ranging from an efficient 110 PS to a robust 190 PS TSI for enhanced performance, which is most certainly not a bad thing.

For example, its 2.0-litre petrol option is a powerful engine that will give you a solid 150 PS (110 kW) and 250 Nm of torque - making for a very lively and efficient ride from the off.

We also found that this 4-cylinder unit powerhouse is paired well with either a six-speed manual gearbox, 8-speed automatic transmission, or its automatic gearbox options, which gives you smooth and responsive gear changes.

With a combined fuel consumption of just 6.3 litres per 100 km as well, it is very economical and environmentally friendly and will help to reduce your running costs at the pump thanks to better fuel efficiency and fuel economy - especially when compared to more heavy fuel-consuming vehicles as well.

Consequently, overall, the T-Roc feels equally impressive, featuring a length of 4,251 mm, a wheelbase of 2,603 mm, and plenty of boot space of 445 litres, along with many extra features.

All in all, this makes it ideal for families, and it seats five comfortably while giving you an excellent balance between performance and practical features, we found.
