Then with its flush deployable door handles, these all contribute to its very stylish, uncluttered look, which then slide out smoothly as you approach the car.

This is then complemented further thanks to its pronounced wheel arches, which really add a touch of muscularity here, while its subtle creases along the bodywork catch the light beautifully, only improving its sculpted form that bit more.

As a result, it really does stand out from the often-boxy shape of traditional SUVs that you tend to get elsewhere in our view.

Roofline

The Evoque's distinctive floating roofline is also a design hallmark that many just recognise, which is also available in a contrasting colour to the main body as well.

We even believe that this design element gives the impression that the roof is hovering above the rest of the car, adding to its contemporary appeal.

While visually striking, this sloping roof is also key to its sporty, coupe-like aesthetic, making it instantly identifiable as the Evoque here.

Interior Quality and Tech Features

Then, when you step inside the Range Rover Evoque, you're immediately greeted by an interior that just exudes luxury and a minimalist interior design.

For instance, the build quality is just impressive, from the moment we got inside, premium materials, like its Windsor leather interior, which is widely available on higher trims, just give you a very plush and comfortable environment here.

The atmosphere within the Evoque's cabin is further improved by what can be called its carefully designed lighting and natural light features.

For example, here you get configurable ambient lighting that allows you and your occupants to set the mood, with a range of colours and intensities to choose from, creating a calming or invigorating environment as desired.

This then subtle glow in our view, really does add to the sense of luxury you get here, especially during nighttime driving.

This is all while many models also feature a panoramic roof (fixed or sliding), which floods the interior with natural light as well, making the cabin feel more spacious and airy as it does so.

Fuel Economy, Emissions, and Running Costs

When it comes to the Evoque's running costs, you are getting a premium SUV here.

As a result, your fuel economy figures vary significantly depending on the engine you go for, and whether you opt for a mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant.

Road & Wind Noise

This is all while its road noise and wind noise are well suppressed for that more serene cabin experience here, but we should note that the larger wheels can sometimes introduce more tyre roar, which is to be expected.

Four Wheel Drive

Most Evoque models also come with four-wheel drive, and Range Rover's renowned off-road technology means it's more capable than many rivals when venturing off the beaten path as well, as it can easily give you various driving modes to tackle different terrains that you find yourself facing as well.
