What is a test drive like with Sinclair Volkswagen?

To most people, buying a new or used car is a considerable financial commitment, so it’s completely normal to make sure you’ve chosen the right one. If you’re thinking about buying a new Volkswagen, then we understand that you’re of course going to want to test drive it first.

With that in mind, there’s no better place to test drive your future Volkswagen than at one of our dealerships.

What’s required of me to test drive a car with Sinclair Volkswagen?

The only requirement necessary for a test drive with us is a full driver’s license. There’s no minimum age, so as long as the individual is old enough to drive then they are ok to test drive. You also won’t need proof of insurance as we have a test drive insurance policy in place!

Where can I go on a test drive?

We have a wide range of routes that we can take customers on to ensure they get the most out of the vehicle during the test drive – for example, city centre routes for city cars and more rural routes for 4x4 models. Essentially, it’s entirely up to you and what routes you are comfortable driving your potential new car on!

Occasionally we get some customers that don’t actually want to drive the vehicle themselves, in which case our sales execs will drive for them.

Which kind of cars can I test drive?

Whether it’s our New Range, Used Stock or the Motability Scheme you are interested in, you can test drive a vehicle from any category – that’s as long as we’ve got it at one of our dealerships!

How do I book a test drive?

To book yourself in for a test drive in your chosen vehicle you have multiple options to suit your preference:

1. Book through our website using our online booking form - click the 'Book Test Drive' button on your chosen car and then fill out your details on the form! 2. Call us and speak to a real human being! Find your preferred dealership details on our find-us page.

3. Come in and see us and we’ll be happy to arrange your test drive with you face to face.
