Sinclair Group Acquires Stratstone Land Rover Swansea Dealership

The recent acquisition of the former Stratstone Land Rover site located at Valley Way on the Swansea Enterprise Park means that the family-run Sinclair Group now represents eight automotive marques and employs more than 1,000 people in Wales. Swansea is already home to Sinclair dealerships representing Audi, Mercedes-Benz, SEAT, Skoda, smart, Volkswagen Cars & Volkswagen Light Commercial Vehicles, and this is the latest acquisition by the Sinclair Group in just a matter of months, following its recent purchase of Likes Land Rover in Hay-on-Wye. Furthermore, Sinclair Land Rover has stated that all 65 members of staff previously employed by Stratstone Land Rover will be welcomed into the Sinclair Group.

The Land Rover Swansea dealership was first acquired by Pendragon in 1990 and was relocated to its present location on the Swansea Enterprise Park in 1992, then known locally as ‘Paramount Land Rover Swansea’. Later renamed ‘Stratstone Land Rover Swansea’ the franchise is now wholly owned and operated by Sinclair Land Rover.
