If you’re thinking of purchasing a Mercedes, it’s good to know whether or not Roadside Assistance is free. With other car manufacturers, this won’t come as standard – but you’ll be happy to know that Mercedes Roadside Assistance is indeed for free for 3 years if you have just bought a new Mercedes and 1 year if you’ve bought an approved used Mercedes-Benz.

If the Mercedes you’re looking to buy was manufactured from 2018 onwards, you’ll also be able to access Mercedes ME Connect. This state-of-the-art technology means that you can share information about your car with either the Mercedes-Benz Retailer or the Customer Assistance Centre in real-time. If you’re purchasing a new or approved-used Mercedes, Roadside Assistance will include:

• A qualified technician that will come out and fix the issue at the roadside – saving you time and money.
• Car recovery from your home or the nearest Mercedes-Benz Retailer.
• Cover across the UK and Europe.

This level of cover is available for cars which have been registered in 1998 and will be automatically renewed every year free of charge.
