SINCLAIR GROUP BECOMES ONE OF THE FIRST GENESIS RETAIL PARTNERS

The Sinclair Group is continuing its expansion with the second brand addition to its portfolio this month as it becomes one of just seven retail partners appointed by Genesis Motor UK, with the premium Korean brand becoming the 13th marque within the Group’s portfolio.

Representing Genesis in South Wales, the Sinclair Group will launch its latest franchise at the beginning of 2024 and will support the business expansion plans to grow capacity and capabilities for test drives and establish successful sales and service operations.

The move complements the existing Genesis studios and online services and will provide wider access to the Genesis brand across Wales.

The news follows the opening of a new GWM ORA showroom by Wales largest motor retailer at its Mercedes-Benz retail outlet on the SA1 development in Swansea at the beginning of July.

Andy Sinclair, Managing Director at the Sinclair Group, joined representatives from the other partner companies to sign their partnership agreements at a special ceremony held during the prestigious Genesis Scottish Open golf tournament last week.

“Genesis’ reputation has been growing rapidly since the brand’s arrival in the UK just over two years ago and we hope to play our part in that continuation,” he said. “Like us, Genesis is committed to customer service excellence and providing a luxury experience that is complemented by the very highest standards of support.

“It is a partnership that we’re not only very excited about but confident will prove happy and successful and we look forward to introducing Genesis to the motorists of South Wales from the start of 2024.”

As part of the brand’s vision for a sustainable future, all-new Genesis vehicles will be pure electric from 2025 and Genesis is also pursuing a goal to become carbon net zero by 2035.
