We’ll keep your new cupra running smoothly and looking great with our standard warranty, Roadside Assistance and a range of options to extend your cover on new or used cars, designed to suit your budget and driving requirements.

5-YEAR CUPRA WARRANTY

Every new CUPRA comes with a comprehensive five-year warranty for up to 90,000 miles. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective parts. In addition to this you can expect additional coverage for your vehicle's battery.

BATTERY

Your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle’s battery is covered should the capacity drop below 70% within eight years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first).

For vehicles purchased under the UK Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) Electric Car Grant from 2025 onwards.

Where the battery energy content of the high voltage battery is found to be less than 80% at three years or 40,000 miles (whichever comes first) or less than 70% during the remaining warranty period, then it will be repaired or replaced under warranty.

Option to extend the high-voltage battery warranty at a further cost once cover ends, for two additional years. Information will be available before standard battery warranty coverage ends.

CUPRA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

While you can’t be sure what’s around the corner, you can drive confidently in the knowledge that CUPRA Roadside Assistance is on hand if you need help. CUPRA Roadside Assistance has been specially designed to take care of you and your CUPRA in the the event of a breakdown, as well as non-vehicle faults - after all, even brand new vehicles can run out of fuel. We're here to give you the best possible advice and practical help. CUPRA Roadside Assistance is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If your vehicle has a breakdown in the United Kingdom, follow these simple steps:

  • Call us on 0330 053 0624.
  • Advise the operator that you have CUPRA Roadside Assistance.
  • Provide your details to the operator.
  • Advise the operator of the location of your vehicle, the nature of any issue, and provide any other information requested by the operator.

After the period of CUPRA’s complimentary Roadside Assistance, you can extend your CUPRA Roadside Assistance at specially negotiated rates for CUPRA customers You will be contacted before the complimentary period ends.

CUPRA CONNECT

Your SOS function, where available, can be used to contact the Roadside Assistance Call Centre sending vehicle data to enable them to support you in a breakdown situation.

The below information can be shared with the centre:

- Vehicle information including location

- Vehicle data such as Fuel level, Battery level or Oil level.

- Any warning lights displayed

This information can be used to help fix the vehicle, suggest the route to the nearest repairer and or fuel or charging station. 

To use this function, you'll need to download the My CUPRA app.

SEAT warranty information:* Valid for vehicles aged 3 to 6 years, with a 2.0L engine or less and under 100,000 miles at activation. Terms, eligibility criteria and exclusions apply. Valid MOT required. Excludes electric vehicles and vehicles with an existing service plan. Vehicles that have been out of a warranty (that has been provided by SEAT UK or SEAT Financial Services) for more than 30 days will have a no-claim period of 30 days at the start of their policy.
