Over the coming months, Jaguar will be reimagined for a new era. You will start to see changes to how Jaguar presents its brand, its retail operations, and over time, the vehicle portfolio.

Effective 12th November 2024, Sinclair Jaguar Swansea & Cardiff new car sales operation will close.

Maintaining the highest levels of service and support to you throughout your ownership experience is our priority. To minimise disruption, all servicing and maintenance of your vehicle will remain with Sinclair Jaguar Swansea, Cardiff & Newport dealerships. We will also continue to stock Approved Pre-Owned Jaguars for sale.

Please note, Jaguar has ceased retail sales of new XE, XF, F-TYPE, E-PACE, F-PACE and I-PACE models, ahead of its renaissance with an all-new portfolio in 2026.

It may be helpful to know that JLR has developed its suite of online services, where you can browse its online showrooms, make a reservation, arrange finance and even agree a part-exchange. All supported by a dedicated concierge team, meaning you can complete much of your transactions online, at a time and place that suits you.

  • Why is Sinclair Jaguar Swansea & Cardiff closing for new Jaguar?
    While JLR continues to reconfigure its retail operation, some changes to its network are required. We are wholeheartedly committed to the continued support of our clients to make the transition as comfortable and convenient as possible for all impacted.

  • What is happening with the future of Jaguar?
    Our JLR Reimagine strategy was announced in 2021, confirming that Jaguar will be fully reimagined as a luxury brand with an all-new electrified portfolio. 
     
  • What’s happening to the current Jaguar range?
    From November 2024, new Jaguar sales will come to an end ahead of a new brand reveal later this year and product launch in 2026. Allocation of our current generation of Jaguar vehicles has now ceased, we do have a selection of models available to acquire on an Approved Pre-Owned basis through the UK retail network. 
     
  • What does this mean for current Jaguar clients?
    We are fully committed to supporting the current product range and our loyal clients. Jaguar Authorised Repairer network will continue to service Jaguar vehicles, honour any warranty claims and provide software updates and the best client support. Scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance, plus Jaguar InControl® Remote & Protect™ will continue to be supported. We’re committed to looking after clients and their Jaguar 24/7, 365 days a year. 

Jaguar Servicing

  • Will I still be able to get my Jaguar serviced by a Jaguar Authorised Repairer?
    There may be some changes while JLR refines their retail network to accommodate Jaguar’s transition, but the Authorised Repairer network will remain operational and you can still get your Jaguar serviced with us at Sinclair Jaguar Swansea, Cardiff & Newport as we will remain a Jaguar Authorised Repairer.
     
  • Can I use my local Range Rover / Defender / Discovery retailer for servicing?
    Yes, as noted above, you can be assured that Sinclair JLR Swansea, Cardiff & Newport will continue to service Jaguar vehicles, honour any warranty claims and provide software updates and the best client support.

Jaguar Ownership

  • Will my Jaguar still get software updates?
    Updates will be sent to your vehicle as they become available - this will include latest anti-theft measures. 
     
  • Will my warranty and/or service plan still be valid?
    Yes, there will be no disruption to your warranty, extended warranty and/or service plan. Your service plan can be used in any Retailer servicing Jaguar vehicles, which includes us at Sinclair Jaguar Swansea, Cardiff, and Newport.
     
  • Can I still buy an extended warranty and/or renew my service plan?
    Jaguar is committed to supporting clients and providing an exceptional ownership experience. Extended warranties and service plans will be available to buy from Sinclair Jaguar Swansea, Cardiff, and Newport.
     
  • Will Parts still be available for my Jaguar?
    We will continue to cater for all service, repair and maintenance requirements.
     
  • Can I still purchase accessories for my Jaguar?
    We will continue to provide range of accessories for your Jaguar, such as loadspace liners or roof boxes.
