Our expert service teams are always on hand to ensure that your Motability vehicle drives at its optimum best.

Regular servicing is needed to keeping it operating well and this is covered as part of your Motability lease, when it will be undertaken at set times or when certain mileage has been reached. Whilst looking after your vehicle, at the Sinclair Group, we also take great pride in looking after you which is why we offer a range of convenient options when booking a service such as while-you-wait, courtesy cars and collection and delivery.

What’s included

The cost of each service, and any maintenance repairs necessary due to general wear, are included within your Motability lease.

Services vary between different types of car with certain checks/jobs undertaken if recommended by the respective manufacturer.

You will be notified if regular maintenance is required on any adaptations fitted to your vehicle.

You will only need to pay for these if they are not covered as part of general wear or tear or as stipulated in your insurance cover booklet.

MOT tests

It is a legal requirement that vehicles undergo a MOT test when they reach three-years-old.

If your car is on a standard three-year Motability lease, it will need a MOT test before you hand it back. This can be arranged with your local Sinclair Retailer approximately two months before the lease ends.

We will, of course, notify you if your car fails its MOT test and advise the work required to fix it before the vehicle can be re-tested. Repair costs for general wear and tear are covered by your lease but other repairs may need to be claimed for through your Motability insurance policy.
