If someone is injured in the accident, you must call the emergency services and report the matter to the Police.
3. EXCHANGE ALL DETAILS
Important information is:The names and addresses of all those involved, including those of any witnesses. Insurance Company details including policy numbers wherever possible. Registration numbers of the vehicles involved in the incident.
4. RECORD ALL THE FACTS
Record all the facts of the accident as soon as possible, regardless of how trivial the incident may seem at the time. The minor detail may help prove your case. A rough sketch of the scene showing positions of the vehicles involved both prior to and after the incident, road signs and width, road markings, skid marks, obstructions, where exactly the Accident happened will all be helpful. Keep a note of the weather and road conditions and visibility. If you have a camera take photographs of the accident scene, the damage to the other vehicle and its occupants.
